Guys, all this insulting in the Meracom chat, really has to stop. If you 2 enjoy insulting each other, have at it. But I really shouldn't need to tell you that people in leadership positions should lead by example most of the time and that whenever someone applies to join you, you are given the option to either accept or decline that application. But from the moment you accept it, you should address your own with proper respect, or just stay silent.

All this achieves is the formation of subgroups within an already smal group of people that in the best case scenario, will just end up leaving us and forming their own corp.

This in turn, led to ark starting a private chat with me:

And that's all I did. I haven't even been on since, because I'm away from home. Just before I logged out, I removed ark's admin rights. Something that was meant to be temporary until I sorted things with alice, and I didn't want him to ban the guy from the channel as well.

I evemailed fen about all that had happened because I trust him to tell me if I went too far about the admin rights and that was it. It was a closed chapter, as far as I was concerned. What followed this has been a series of dick moves by both ark and kimzi, that I honestly can't see any justification for. And I know of them through others only. But given these developments, that decision to take away the admin rights will be permanent.

Anyway, let's keep this discussion here instead of using evemail or trillian. This will be a messy one and it'll help to have it all centralized as we discuss and decide what to do.

By then Rali has told Marta, who told me. So I sent these to Rali and Fen. more as a joke. And then yesterday I logged into Nap to add skills and saw the corp motd and today I couldn't help myself any longer and that's when the chat log that started this thread happened.

In hind sight, on the 26th things were starting to get out of control. Now they're full blown and tbh I'm done with this crap. I pay to play this game, and I play this game to have fun. For that to happen, I can't be anywhere near ark cause he rly gets into my nerves. And I already know his routine. He fucks up, then sends an apologetic message and then goes back and does it again, but worse.

I'll stick around till fen is back just because I think he deserves at least a chance to try fixing this but I don't see how. I guess I'm just waiting for confirmation that he can't fix it so I can convince myself that pulling my toons out of dramani is the only way for me to keep enjoying this game.

I was too when I was told of those things in the meracom chat and I told Rali back then that if this Meracom expansion went forward so that Ark joined Meracom, I would leave. After today I hope I'm not the only one thinking like that.

He is a hypocrite and no one here has any respect for him which makes it impossible to have him aboard and he keeps showing he isn't and doesn't want to be part of our team. Saying half of a corp is his and that he does things because he wants to and the way he has treated Rali and then Vlad, that's not how we do things and we shouldn't tolerate it from others, and I won't. So if he comes, I leave. It's that simple.

He didn't want to join Meracom anyway and for all I know he may be doing this to achieve that goal but I don't care. We have no room for Ark in Meracom. And if that means cutting off Dramani altogether, then that's what we should do. I'm only sorry for Fen but whatever happens it will be a result of what he decides to do about it as well. And if Fen can't be separated from coming in the same package as Ark, then I prefer not having Fen than having Ark. I'm not doing anything at all that may even if just indirectly benefit Ark or a corp he owns in full or part. That's final.

I have to agree. I was thinking about what other ways could there be but I have nothing. Fen is the life of dramani anyway. if he doesn't log on for a day, the corp dies which makes ark the proud owner of 50% of the dramani biomass but a failiure at making any successful event or activity without Fen's back up.
but anyway we can not allow ourselves to have a corp in meracom that is hostage to someone as unstable as ark every time Fen can not be on for more than 12 hours. I agree we should give fen a chance to fix things but we all know Ark will be staying in Dramani. I'm sorry for losing Fen, Kuol, Chibi, Tellah Redal and a lot of other people, but it may be time for us to go our own separate ways. and if we are to stop all help to dramani for as long as ark is there, the next thing to be done will have to be a standings reset and apply our own rules to non blues.
By the way were the dramani not the ones most concerned about drama after joining meracom? funny how things work out. if I am made to choose between dramani with ark or dramani reset I am for the reset. I am very sorry for all the other Dramanis that don't deserve any of this but we do not deserve what ark has done either. and while i love most dramanis, we love ourselves more.

Ok so since we're bringing the discussion here I will simply restate what I told you all before.

I think giving Ark his isk back was mistake. I think we should have kept it and told him we were doing it because "fuk u"

I think we should still keep Kim's isk also because "fuk u".

I think the only two options are either they kick Ark or we kick Dramani regardless of how much some of us may like some of their members.

I think all these options should be discussed with Fen but with Kuol as well but I refuse to have any dealings at all with Ark or Kim. But I also think this will be pointless and we are only doing it to humor Ralitsa because we all know this will end with both sides parting ways for good.

While I think Fen and Kuol should be brought in to throw ideas about how to solve this that we all know are doomed to fail, they too are to blame because when you share leadership, you're also taking responsibility for the asinine decisions of your protegees.

I think Vlad has done more for Dramani than Ark. And even Meracom has done more for Dramani than Ark. I was already back in eve when he came up with the sniper fleet idea and I know this because it was my trading with my share of the alocated fund that paid for those ships, which incidentally had a major role in the war against Aegis and only didn't play a central role in the wars that followed because no one but Vlad ever bothered to even form a fleet to take the fight to them. not to mention once again the fund. If not all of them were wise enough to use it for their benefit it was their fault, but the option was there for the taking.

And I won't even go deep into the matter of integrity because from the logs I read even that Kardel fellow had more integrity in his pinky toe than Ark can even hope to have.

And the latest addition I think Ark should be crowned DRAMAni king and Kim should be DRAMAni queen. And fuck them both those fucking mother fucking ingrates.

We should not mess with the fund because it is not who we are and we should not drop to their level. even if they deserved it.
But every thing else sure. if we are going for some sort of full embargo we should close the fund and return the isk and go our own way. they can only be active when fen is online so lets step out and let them crack from the inside. or maybe even offer one kimzi and ark free alternative

I think we should tread very carefuly because whatever it is that we end up deciding upon, it'll be final since I have no intention of going back on any decision regarding this issue, once it has been made.

Which is also why we're not doing anything untill Fen's back. No action at all is to be taken, just as any sort of retaliation should be off the table either. But for now we'll just sit back and watch the drama show.

Bringing Kuol into the discussion with Fen might help, or at the very least I doubt it will make anything worse. The main problem I can see laying ahead however, is how can we even salvage anything when no one in the Meracom leadership, myself included, refuse to have any future dealings with 2 Dramani members that also seem to apparently have some sort of leadership roles. This will be a tricky one to manage and may quite possibly end up with us parting ways for good. And if that turns out to be the only option, it's important that the remining Dramanis are shown why we were left with no other option, just as any retaliation of any sort should be specifically aimed at Ark and Kimzi while keeping any secondary effects towards the remaining Dramani members to a minimum.

Yea, after that spat I had with ark and kimzi on corp chat I'm done. I'll be on as much as I can on Nap just to check out what goes on in there as well but I have nothing to tell them and I'll just wait for fen to be back for good tho I already told him I'm gonna leave regardless of whatever happens. I just really wanna know what he has to say about all of it and what he'll be doing but I don't see any other way out.

On related news, Ark stopped showing on the meracom chat. Kimzi didn't leave it yet but isn't chatting there ever. Both only write anything on corp chat, usually asking for people to talk to them and having limited success. Coincidently the meracom chat is getting a lot more active when neither is online, usually as we get into the US TZ. Go figure...

That was Ark's pm. He also tried to convo me on nap. After declining a couple times I just let it stay in wait.

He wants to talk but didn't change my corp title whis is now spai and didn't give me back access to the hangars. Not that it would make a difference. My decision is made. He then started talking about the event in corp chat. It died out pretty fast tho.

Second of all, all we were told about it was that they wanted isk to buy plexes to give as prizes to the wining team, and the plan by evemail.

Third of all, the same organizers that wanted isk for the prizes were participating. So no conflict of interest there.

None of us is changing our decision. We are done with him and Kimzi and we will not be doing anything that will even remotely benefit them. If it wasn't for Rali and Fen, I would have banned him and Kimzi from the channel. And if I were in dramani, I'd have awoxed them by now. When they not only don't give back but start taking away that's it. And every day they do something that upsets us even further. We're done with them.

Lets summarise what I had.

Ark does more than you realise, he doesnt understand what it is you guys do exactly because nobody has ever told him, and this secrecy bothers him.

They are both quick to temper, hot-headed and unreasonable when angry, thats a given. They do stupid things in the heat of the moment and come to regret it shortly afterwards - BUT they have never done the same thing twice after someone has explained to them what is so problematic about it.

And I am annoyed that I am being left to deal with this, when all I do to deal with these problems is listen to people and give them each others opinions in a reasonable way. People could do this themselves, and they never seem to do so. I am also not happy that these 'solutions' are being discussed in the first place. Is this really what happens when I have to deal with my own shit for 2 weeks? Honestly.


So, heres my solution - I'd like somebody to offer 5 minutes of their time to listen to what Ark has to say. It would help if they go into it with an open mind. If this fails to resolve anything, I will deal with it. If nobody wants to spare those 5 minutes, I wont be too happy and can offer no predictions as to what I'll actually attempt to do then. Just ragequitting for a week or two seems most likely -.-

Now about ark. we never said he did not do anything. he is the one who said tuga never did anything while at the same time saying this was just a game and not a job. I think he is confused and plays ignorant when it suits him. and if he was in the meracom chat and read the motd he could see what we do is trading. and we were almost 2 months in a worm hole and haul things and scout for your wars and do what ever else we do when we are on. surely if you ask any one else in your own corp they will tell you this too. it is not a mystery to anyone but ark. including a joke here about how he would know if he were in the meracom chat would be funny but he has not been away long enough to even use that to explain his new found amnesia
